Members rally in support of EFCA and against corporate excess

Today, April 28th, 2009, over 120 members and staff joined other SEIU locals and community partners at the LA City Council Chambers to watch and cheer as the LA City Council voted to pass a resolution in support of the Employee Free Choice Act. After that we joined in a National Day of Action to hold Bank of America accountable in our "Take Back the Economy" event. SEIU Secretary-Treasurer Anna Burger spoke to the crowd and urged them to fight against misused TARP funds.
